Solicitor - OL/EL (1250)

Defendant PI Solicitor - Salary dependent on experience.

My client is an award-winning Top 50 law firm that boasts leading credentials as an employer offering a fantastic working culture, they are looking to recruit a Solicitor to join their Casualty Team in Leicester.

The Role:

* Manage a caseload of litigated files including Employers Liability and Occupiers Liability
* Specialise in acting on behalf of various commercial businesses and insurers, protecting their interests
* Assist Partners on high value cases when required
* Draft and perform legal research, investigations, etc
* Attend conferences and court
* Attend court hearings as appropriate

The Person:

* Qualified Solicitor 0-5 PQE
* Genuine interest and previous experience in local government litigation
* Experience of acting for a local authority and their insurers would be desirable
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Excellent collaborative and team working skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent IT skills
