The role entails extensive contact and interaction with business representatives at all levels of the organisation. Your new role
The role will have a strong UK focus but on occasion may involve working on projects abroad. It will be very hands on and will include managing customer and supplier contracts, assisting and advising in the negotiating and drafting of contracts, ensuring that the companies compliance requirements are fulfilled, including with regards to consumer information and FCA regulations, and mitigating risk. You will also support the business with its data protection compliance and guide and advise the management and customer support teams with legal matters when needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Qualified solicitor (preferably 1-3PQE) or Legal Executive (CILEx Level 6)
• Strong drafting skills and good commercial acumen.
• High degree of flexibility and self-motivation.
• Able to deliver high quality legal advice in a commercial context.
• Comfortable briefing senior management on significant legal issues
• Experience within the financial & data industries and/or previous in-house experience would be an advantage but is not a pre-requisite
