This is a brilliant opportunity for an Employment Solicitor to join a stand out Legal 500 firm in their St Albans office.
The Firm
They are a full-service commercial firm which has grown substantially in recent years. They deal with a quality of work on par with City firms and have attracted many heavy hitting Lawyers. Many City Partners who have joined have been really attracted by just the excellent quality of work.
This firm is highly ranked in the Legal 500 and is top tier across several areas. They have experienced substantial growth in recent years; interestingly this mainly comes from their International reach. Despite them having a headcount of just over 100, their International reach is growing quickly; they have a strong client base in Russia, China, and the Middle East.
Their fee earners are not just technically strong but are exceptional business developers, and many of the Lawyers have very impressive client bases. You will find that they deal with a varied spread of clients, with emphasis on HNW individuals, OMB, SME's, and company Directors. The sector variety makes for an interesting role full of variety.
You will find a culture that is dynamic, forward-thinking, reactive, and quick to adapt. They are very progressive, and you will find no glass ceilings regarding progression.
The Role
You will work with two Partners who are heavy hitters in the local market, helping you gain PQE beyond your years.
Your caseload will consist of a mixture of Defendant and Claimant matters (roughly 60/40) with 40% being contentious and 60% being non-contentious.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to join a market leading team and progress.
Requirements:
- You will be an Employment Solicitor NQ - 3 years PQE
- You will be a commercial minded individual who wants to progress
- You must have meticulous eye for detail
