IN-HOUSE - Contracts Manager

Your new company
This FTSE 250 company and industry leader, provides professional and consultancy services to a range of UK businesses. A temporary vacancy, for a minimum 6 month term, has arisen in the Manchester office for a Contracts Manager with a strong understanding of contract law.

Your new role
You will join the Commercial Bids and Contracts team and will be responsible for the management and negotiation of all contractual and ancillary documentation for all contracts. As Contracts Manager you will consult with key stakeholders and clients throughout the process including pricing negotiation, resolving outstanding actions and tracking progress.You will be involved in basic drafting and this role could suit a commercial contracts paralegal or Cilex qualified Legal Executive looking to gain in-house experience and work more closely with the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be available to start in October 2019 and have solid commercial contracts drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills. You will have gained experience in commercial law either from a previous contracts role in house or in private practice. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary.
