Job Details
Legal Cashier is required for Legal 500 firm in Central London.
They are seeking a good Flexible all-rounder with SRA accounts rules experience.
Role includes:
Oversee daily office transactions and apply credits and debits. (2 office accounts)
Office and client bank reconciliations
Bulk billing
Remitting funds to clients
Purchase ledger – process supplier’s invoices. Send weekly schedule to Managing Partner for approval. Make payments and send remittance advices.
Send and maintain risk assessments to new suppliers
Oversee and regularly review loan agreements
Application of internet payments
Assist Managing Partner with covering day to day transactions when the Legal Cashier is on leave (cheques in and out, electronic payments, manual and bulk billing, fee earner reporting, maintain holiday and absence records)
Assist with housekeeping – ordering stationery, provisions, arranging service call outs.
Ideal candidate will be experienced in Legal Cashier work. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Legal 500 Law firm in the West End Central London.
