Commercial Litigation - Sheffield

Our client is a top tier global law firm with a network of UK offices including an established offering in Sheffield. They are looking for an Associate to join their well-managed Commercial Litigation team, to be Sheffield based and work directly in support of a partner. The successful candidate can expect exposure to high value, complex UK and cross border disputes, acting for clients in a range of sectors.

The successful candidate will enjoy a broad diet of work, ranging from (but not limited to) advising on dispute avoidance; preparing strategies for dealing with claims through either international arbitration adjudication, litigation, expert determination or mediation; and strategically advising clients by managing client expectations and project delivery appropriately.

To be considered for the role, candidates should have c1-5 years PQE in commercial litigation in order to manage matters yourself with confidence, and assist on more complex cases. This firm is looking for candidates who are commercially astute, and who have excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working, so as to be able to build their own network of internal and external contacts.

The successful candidate can expect excellent training, learning and development programmes, as well as a genuine opportunity to experience a wide range of work and clients in a friendly, supportive environment.

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Litigation Lawyer, looking to work for a leading international firm in the north.

Whilst this firm has offices in Leeds and Manchester, the role is specifically to be part of their close team in Sheffield and so relocators who are prepared to consider this compact and popular city are encouraged to apply as the firm will be competitive on remuneration as the highest level, and may consider relocation allowance.

Brooke Thornham Consulting advertisements use PQE levels purely as a guide to the level of experience required for the role and this does not prohibit applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experience. We aim to respond to enquiries as soon as possible but if we have not contacted you within 5 days then unfortunately on this occasion your application has not quite met the requirements of our client closely enough.
