Residential Conveyancer

My client is an award winning, leading Top 100 firm that now have a requirement for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their established team at Reading. Competitive Salary & Benefits Package available.

This is a new role to join the busy team, this role focuses primarily on the residential conveyancing side of the business but will be expected to have the knowledge and experience to effectively cover the new build plot sales side of the team during periods of holiday. Ideally, you'll hold at least 3 Yrs. PQE.

The Residential Conveyancing team handles a range of transactions for both freehold and leasehold properties, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, leasehold enfranchisement, and development work. As part of the team, you will handle your own caseload from start to finish, while striving to give a client-focussed, efficient service always. You will also be expected to work to build on the department's reputation in the local area through marketing, networking and referrals.

The chosen Residential Conveyancer must hold a suitable relevant qualification (Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive) or have significant work-based experience to demonstrate technical and academic competence. Reporting directly to the HOD, you will be a first-class communicator both written and verbally and possess excellent client handling and service skills. The need to be a 'team player' as well as be keen to develop your career with a leading practice is essential.
