Brand new opportunity at this quality Legal 500 law firm who have recently received an influx of new work and who are undergoing national expansion plans within their conveyancing department. The conveyancing team will be based in Manchester office with easy motorway transport links as well as local parking.

The role will see you manage a caseload of circa 80 - 100 files with a mix of freehold & leasehold transactions for sales & purchase, right to buy, new build, transfer of equity, shared ownership and equity release matters. Work will range from low to high value, so prior experience of dealing with complex transactions will be beneficial. Any previous exposure to dealing with high value transactions in excess of £1,000,000+ will also prove advantageous.

Ideally you will have gained at minimum of 2 years' as a Conveyancing Fee Earner and have the ability to run your own unsupervised caseload. This position would suit Qualified Fee Earners (Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, FCILEX's) looking to build on their current experience at a highly regarded local firm. There is currently a mix of work in place, provided by local sources such as estate agents & lenders as well national conveyancing panels.

It is pivotal that you are able to multi-task and work to a high standard whilst doing so, as this department will be expanding rapidly over the coming months so you may be expected to train new staff, supervise and fee earn in the absence of the partner. The national conveyancing department is spread over 5 offices and has in excess of 30+ fee earners and several teams, however this will be the head office you will be working from.

Salary is based on experience level however will fall between £34k - £42k with a fantastic benefits scheme (pension, healthcare, medical insurance, etc...) and bonus package. Please call Nick Skelly at QED Legal for further information on this role.
