Business Solicitor

Thriving practice based in Greater Manchester.  Focus on local SME clients.

This opportunity will appeal to a recently qualified solicitor, who wishes to maintain a diverse caseload acting for commercial and business clients. Typical instructions would include:

• Business start-ups: incorporations & registrations
• Drafting shareholders agreements and partnership documentation
• All types of commercial contracts terms of business: supply & distribution, agency, franchise, service, options
• Sale and Purchase of Businesses
• Property investments, sales and disposals
• Landlord and Tenant Issues

This well-established and profitable firm (dating back 50 years+) enjoys an excellent reputation in the town and amongst local companies and businesses. Due to increased instructions and strategic planning, it is looking to recruit a key assistant to support the head of department.

As well as previous experience in company/commercial matters or property transactions, you will share the same enthusiasm for really getting to know clients, understanding their objectives and providing a bespoke service.

Working closely with the lead partner, you will receive excellent mentoring as you assist on larger or more complex transaction whilst also being given responsibility for meeting with clients and managing suitable instructions.
