Applicants must currently live in London and be able to demonstrate a good understanding of community perceptions and relations with regard to policing matters. Candidates must have an understanding of the need for high standards of conduct in the police service and a commitment to fairness and equality. Previous experience of participating in disciplinary panels, and an understanding of employment law are both desirable.
