Commercial Property Solicitor (Locum)

We have an exciting new vacancy for an experienced Commercial Property LOCUM Lawyer (will consider part time candidates). To start in October 2018.

Covering maternity leave, you will join a small friendly team serving a wide variety of clients in a wide variety of commercial property matters, including: Business sales and purchases (both assets and shares); Commercial leases, acting for both landlord and tenant (includes agreements for lease, initial grant/taking of leases, renewals, assignments, surrenders etc.); Sale and purchase of commercial property; Auction sales and purchases, Commercial remortgages/refinancing; Small-scale residential development work including acquisition of sites for residential development and  plot sales; Development work acting for landowners including options agreements and conditional contracts, including dealing with overage; Some ad hoc residential sales and purchases for commercial clients. You will have own office and secretarial support.

You will need:

-To be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with a minimum of 3PQE.

-Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with and communicate effectively with clients, third parties and intermediaries.

-An ability to work unsupervised and to manage own caseload.

-Excellent time management skills and an ability to work to deadlines.

-Excellent organisational skills and an ability to effectively delegate to and supervise junior team members.

-IT and case-management literate.
