Wills and Probate Lawyer

We are currently looking to recruit a senior solicitor to join the established successful private client team of a large established Derbyshire law firm. This is a senior post for an established Private client solicitor or legal executive.

About the Role

As a Qualified Lawyer you will provide advice within the WTP Practice Area, based in the Belper office. Ideally STEP qualified or solicitor you will have a proven track record (around 5 years plus experince) in this area of law.

About you

In order to be successful you must be qualified in the area of practice (either as a solicitor, or a Legal Executive). You must have a robust knowledge of the private client legal services industry along with experience of case management and managing a portfolio. You will be accountable for organizing your own workload and make independent decisions relating to the area of your responsibility. You will manage higher fee earning targets to contribute to the fee earning potential for your practice area you must be able to communicate effectively on every level; you are on the front line of customer communications and must set the example to other staff in the delivery of exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role you must be able to work independently and be self motivated, but also work well in a team in order for practice area goals to be met. You must be able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally. STEP qualification preferred or an on-going commitment to becoming STEP qualified.
