The role

The firm is seeking to hire a new Corporate Immigration Senior Associate / Partner into their Birmingham City centre office.

Although the Corporate immigration department is still relatively small compared to that of You will deal with a high-quality client base and will deal with a varied caseload, often acting for HNW individuals, company owner's entrepreneurs. Both based in the UK and non-UK clients dealing with a varied caseload including; Tier 1 entrepreneur visa, Sponsor licence tier 2 applications, Tier 2 compliance, advising businesses from SME to FTSE 250, Acting for Tier 1 "high-value migrants", Leave to remain, Extensions to work permits and leave to remain.
You will be at the forefront of this growing department, working alongside the Partner to further drive the department forwards, now is an exciting time to join.

This role would be well suited to a candidate that may have hit a glass ceiling in terms of progression and Partnership. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-established firm that has real ambition to continue to grow.

Requirements

• You will be an Corporate Immigration Solicitor with at least 4 years PQE (there is no upper limit regarding the amount of experience)
• A meticulous eye for detail is essential
• You should be a commercially minded individual who has a flare for business development
• Excellent client care skills are essential
