This prestigious firm is highly ranked in the Legal 500 and is well-respected within the legal sector. Our client is currently looking to recruit a solicitor to work alongside the head of risk and compliance. Within this role you can expect to advise the firm on various regulation and compliance matters as well as helping to develop and improve efficiencies. Your day will be varied and will generally involve providing advice on money laundering, data protection and the SRA code, managing file and system audits and devising/delivering various training materials on risk and compliance issues to name a few duties.
The firm believes that candidates with between 3-6 years pqe will possess the correct skills and knowledge to succeed in this role however all levels of experience are encouraged to apply. Ideally you will be a litigator but this isn't essential for the role and all backgrounds will be considered. Due to the nature of the work, they are really looking for strong communicators and logical thinkers.
