Job Details
Our client, a well-established Central London law firm, is currently looking for a property litigation locum solicitor to cover a Director's holiday for 2 weeks. The department is very busy so they will need to be able to hit the ground running and have experience in dealing with the below skills.
Role details:
- Start date: 8th October
- Duration: 2 weeks
- 8+ PQE
- Principal area of law is Property Litigation, some construction or commercial litigation helpful.
Examples of current cases to be covered:
- Claim by NHBC against developer arising from defects caused to the building works
- Rights of light claim for injunctive relief or damages in lieu
- Fast track claim against LL for breach of covenant and a derogation from its grant
- Negligence claim on behalf of investor against its solicitors for a failure to process the correct SDLT and claim multiple dwellings relief
- Breach of contract claim for developer against a lender in respect of interest arising from a bridging loan
- Contract dispute claim with regards to ownership of bar premises
