Legal Secretary - Commercial Property / Corporate - Fareham £20,000 - £23,000

A leading Hampshire law firm are currently looking to appoint secretarial support to the existing team of a well regarded regional Commercial Property team. They pride themselves in providing quality legal services delivered with the local business community in mind.

If you are an experienced Legal Secretary with established expertise in supporting fee earners who deal with the full remit of commercial property matters (with some corporate work also) this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Alternatively you may an experienced Legal Secretary from a background that would lend itself well to quickly grasping commercial matters with a keen desire to apply yourself and learn new skills and procedures.

Day to day duties will be varied but will include digital dictation (Bighand), legal document production, various legal / registry searches (Land Reg, HMRC, Co's House), liaison with clients, various local authorities and commercial agents. You should be competent in file closing / opening and take a positive and enthusiastic approach to your work.

You will be highly organised and competent in dealing with all matters related to keeping good order of client files and ensuring smooth progress for each case. Being a good communicator is key and a personable nature with the ability to speak to clients occasionally via the telephone to keep them informed on progress of their case when necessary.

There is a very good culture of professionalism within the firm with a genuinely friendly and open approach when it comes to engaging with the fee earners and partners.
