We require a litigator with an enthusiasm for data protection to develop our privacy law practice. The successful applicant will be a dynamic, can do team player with City experience, who is happy to roll up their sleeves and pull their weight in all areas.  He or she will work closely with the firm’s principal in a supportive environment where excellence is rewarded. Training on data protection law will be provided as necessary. The initial role will be one or two days a week on a consultancy basis. For the right person this could be an exciting opportunity to develop as a key player in a growing practice.

Mariel Irvine Solicitors is a boutique law firm representing insurers,  police, and prison governors.  It is diversifying its client base in data protection law. As a representative of best practice, Mariel was invited to contribute to the Parliamentary Review’s inaugural review of Law and Justice in 2018. The Chambers and Partners Guide to the Legal Profession regularly recommends Mariel as a leading practitioner in Police Law.
