A leading Defendant Healthcare Law Firm is currently seeking a Senior Defendant Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join its top tier ranked team in London.

This position is a key hire which will play an important role within the team handling your own cases approximately 25 - 30 matters of higher value claims circa £1 million upwards of spinal injury, gyneacology, dental, neurosurgical, ophthalmic and orthopaedic on behalf of various NHS organisations and providers of health and social care.
 
The Partners are keen for individuals to be motivated by medicine, have an understanding of medical records, support if needed is given by the Partners who are ex health practitioners and the firm have a library team with specialist medical knowledge.  
 
Their approach taken on for each case as the defendant lawyer is to meet the Doctors / Surgeon / Medical staff face to face, to engage with them and take the case from a medicine perspective rather than an insurance approach.
 
The firms London office is an open plan space to embrace young lawyers and encourage cross over with other practice areas in zones to encourage shared advice. The firm also encourage working from home 1 day per week to give you a work life balance.
