The role

  • Posting client & office receipts for all branches
  • Processing & posting card receipts in person and on the phone
  • Checking and Posting invoices to the Accounts System and printing bills
  • Client to Office Transfers
  • Monitor incoming funds and inform Fee Earners
  • Enter CHAPS and BACS payments
  • Covering for Accounts Manager's work in her absence to include month end reporting and VAT returns
  • Assist with Purchase Ledger
  • Ordering stationery
  • Petty Cash
  • Client Bank reconciliations
  • Quarterly WIP returns
  • Assisting the Practice Manager with some HR / internal administration
  • Maintain central record of holidays

The requirements

  • Cashiering experience in a law firm is essential
  • Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and VAT regulations Team motivator, Flexible, helpful and reliable
  • Tikit experience would be advantageous
