Private Equity Locum - Top West End Law Firm

Venn Group is currently working on behalf of a highly regarded firm based in the West End who is looking for an experienced Private Equity Solicitor to assist the department in what is an incredibly buoyant time for the firm.

The firm is looking for someone with previous experience from a recognised private equity or transactional legal practice and ability in dealing with the below matters:

• Buy-out and M&A transactions
• Cross border transactions
• Strong technical ability and drafting skills, with and without reference to precedents
• Desire to assume responsibility for principal associate roles on a transaction
• Leveraged transactions
• Buy and build and/or development (growth) capital transactions
• Public-to-private transactions
• Capital market transactions
• Special "distressed" situations, exit strategies (including capital markets transactions), tax planning and incentive arrangements, regulatory and compliance issues

Whilst experience with all of the above is not entirely essential, it is preferred. The main area of expertise sought is within buy-out and M&A transactions.
