Are you a corporate solicitor seeking an associate role in the Glasgow or Edinburgh areas and interested in a firm that can offer access to top tier client lists and work?

QED Legal's client, one of the country's premiere legal firms, has recently created an opening for an accomplished corporate solicitor to assume an associate role within their lean, not too top heavy corporate group. This is a law firm that can truly boast representing the greatest private and public sector clients available throughout Scotland, the UK and beyond.
You will have at least three years post qualifying experience in a Legal 500 ranked corporate department and be extremely comfortable in taking on a caseload related primarily to M&A work and private equity investments.
You will be a self-starter, with ambitions beyond associate level and have ideas on how you would set yourself apart from your contemporaries within the corporate sphere.
My client has a reputation for encourage all solicitors to be heavily involved in shaping the firm's future through business development activities and you would be required to do this regularly, even bringing your own ideas to the table.
The corporate market has been incredibly buoyant in Scotland for some time now, but without many people making the leap from their current firms. My client can offer a genuine incentive to, so even if you are currently on the fence about leaving your current employer I would recommend speaking to them anyway.
Moving to associate level is an incredibly important step in your career path so considering all options available to you would always be something I am keen to recommend.
