Corporate Commercial Solicitor
We are working with an award winning law firm who has recently entered the Birmingham market, who are currently looking to hire into their Corporate / Commercial team to join the centrally located Birmingham team.
The team provides legal advice to a variety of organisations from different sectors and acts on a range of transactions.

The ideal hire will be solicitor who has c 5 years PQE in Corporate / Commercial – who has worked in an established corporate team, working with a broad diet of clients, who has generated their own client base, and who can optimise business through cross referring with other teams within the firm. Therefore our client needs a commercially savvy lawyer, dedicated to building lasting relationships with their clients, and who is technically able. Those who have roots in the area, and an understanding of the local market (Birmingham and West Midlands) will be of particular interest.
Key requirements are:
- UK qualified solicitor
- Good supporting academics
- 5 PQE (although those with more or less will be considered as long as they are technically able)
- Good understanding of corporate commercial law
- Initiative and ambition
- Passionate about networking
- Can do attitude
- Able to nurture junior team members
- Knowledge of local market
- A transferrable following would be advantageous, but not essential
This is an ideal role for a solicitor who may originate from a larger national firm, who is looking to join a smaller team, where promotion and career progression will be achievable in a much shorter time frame. Those looking for that all-important work/life balance would also be suited to this firm, as they are strong advocates of ensuring a happy and content workforce.
