Fee Earner - NIHL

Industrial Disease Solicitor/ Legal Executive/ Paralegal

My client is an award-winning Top 50 law firm that boasts leading credentials as an employer offering a fantastic working culture. Due to team expansion they are looking looking to recruit an experienced Fee Earner to join their Technical Claims Team in Coventry.

The Role:

* Manage a caseload of 50-60 litigated NIHL cases
* To manage and progress claims in accordance with appropriate strategies to secure desired outcomes for clients
* Reviewing documents and preparing reports
* Dealing with disclosure
* Conducting investigations with Insured / obtaining witness statements
* Instructing Counsel / Experts
* Research
* Drafting generally

The Person:

* Litigator with minimum 6 months experience handling NIHL claims
* Technically proficient in dealing with disease cases
* Effective negotiator
* Ability to use own initiative
* Flexibility in relation to tasks undertaken
* Good listening and verbal communication skills
