This is a large financially strong European business operating across different jurisdictions, with over 1,500 employees. They have a new vacancy for a Legal Counsel. This role will be based in their Manchester office and will be an integral member of their group legal department.

This Legal Counsel opportunity is part of the Corporate Legal Team and you will provide transactional support and advice to the business on acquisitions in the UK and other jurisdictions. Your role will also include transactional support and advice to the business on any M&A activity across the group. You will also be tasked with supporting on negotiating a variety of commercial contracts.

You will likely be a transactional solicitor with corporate, banking or finance (including real estate finance) experience, from a private practice or in-house background. Candidates with between 3 and 5 years PQE would be deemed to be at a good level for the current team. You will be able to run with some matters autonomously and support the more experienced members of the team on more complex matters.
