I have an opportunity with a high profile Legal 500 firm, based in Derby, who are a success story and punching well above their weight in the commercial market.
 
This is a close knit happy working environment where a large core of the staff have been with the company for a decade or more. They are attracting and managing to keep some of the most talented solicitors in the East Midlands and have a proven track record of nurturing careers.
 
Working alongside a couple of senior partners, an associate and a NQ, you will also have secretarial support within this department. Commercial Litigation is one of the better performing areas within the firm and is a priority for the firm, so you'll be joining a well funded department.
 
You can expect a varied Commercial Litigation caseload. The firm have some excellent clients that they work with. You can expect to pick up work relating to commercial dispute resolution, civil litigation, property litigation, landlord and tenant work, professional negligence, contact disputes , a real range here.
 
Ideally you'll be at 1-4 years PQE, however in truth my client will look at any level of qualification underneath partner level. The firm are keen to speak to ambitious , driven but personable fee earners out there and are interested in how they can best progress your career.
