Legal Secretary / Assistant - Commercial + Residential Property - Bognor

An excellent local firm established over the decades they have a great reputation in West Sussex for providing a straightforward and friendly service to both the individual and business client. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to provide legal support to the Commercial and Residential Conveyancing Department.

The commercial conveyancing department offers considerable expertise in acting for all types of businesses, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies in connection with the purchase, sale and leasing of business property. They also act for commercial landlords and are used to dealing with the sale and purchase, and the leases of commercial properties, including industrial units. We also deal with farm purchases and sales.

The Residential side focuses providing a straight forward conveyancing process ensuring each transaction efficiently completed with a minimum of fuss. The department deal with all types of property, freehold, leasehold, houses, maisonettes, flats and apartments.

A competent Legal Secretary/Assistant is required to support the department, you will work with experienced fee earners in a busy yet friendly office. Previous experience in Commercial Property and/or Residential Property would be ideal with familiarity of the terminology and various processes involved in matters of this nature being key to the role itself.

A good command of general IT and legal related software is advantageous, you will be used to operating in what is often a time sensitive and demanding working environment. Therefore the ability to competently manage and stay organised in dealing with varying workload is essential. A friendly and approachable manner with a willingness to role up your sleeves and help in times of high demand will see you welcomed with open arms!
