Defendant Insurance Solicitor

Our clients' highly regarded Litigation and Dispute Resolution department are seeking a NQ-2 years PQE Solicitor/Associate, to join their Defendant Insurance Team based in their Birmingham office.
You will be expected to provide a high quality legal service to clients on a full range of defendant insurance matters. You will handle your own varied and interesting caseload of matters,  covering RTA, EL and PL claims, including all forms of catastrophic injury, liability, injury and motor claims. You will be expected to manage a high volume of work including some more large and complex cases. 
The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently, under minimal supervision, advising more junior members of the team where necessary.
You will need to show previous experience in a similar role dealing with contentious matters. For Newly Qualified candidates, relevant experience gained during your training contract is essential.
Ideally you will have previous experience dealing with large and complex claims, including high value catastrophic injury matters.
Excellent research, file management, communication and IT skills are also essential for this role, knowledge of case management systems would also be an advantage.
