Our client is a FTSE 250 organisation looking for a Litigation Executive / Legal Assistant to work as part of their In-house General Counsel Office. Based in Northampton this is a wide and varied position offering the opportunity to progress and develop your career in a busy but friendly in-house legal department. This role primarily involves Insolvency, and the correct administration of trade accounts.

It will also include contact with commercial debtors at all stages, including correspondence and telephone, commencing litigation, and management of defended litigation across various tracks. You may be dealing with defences, disputes, applications to set aside, personal guarantee disputes.

The client are looking for candidates, either with dispute resolution experience or from a finance background. You should have excellent communication skills, as building relationships is critical to this role.

Our client envisages that candidates with at least 1 years' experience in a Litigation Executive position will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this range but who have the relevant experience.
