Adult Social Care Lawyer

Our local authority client is actively seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer for three months initially on a part time basis.

The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will be required for an initial four month assignment until March 2019, 3 days per week. You will be required to advise on the full remit of adult social care issues to include DOLs applications, no recourse to public funds, court of protection applications, mental capacity issues and ordinary residence. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the Care Act 2014 and ideally have some childcare exposure.

Our client is ideally seeking candidates with local authority experience however, candidates from the private sector are encouraged to apply. Due to the urgency around the position, you will be required to be available on no more than two weeks’ notice.
