THE ROLE
The Commercial Lawyer will advise on matters of charity, commercial, contract, IP and data protection law. The role will be responsible for drafting, negotiating and settling contracts over a wide range of projects. These will involve a broad range of legal issues which the Commercial Lawyer will need to provide advice on. The role offers the opportunity to build on existing experience whilst also developing expertise in commercial and corporate legal issues in a charity context.

The role will have a varied and interesting caseload of matters ranging from collaboration agreements for conservation projects to confidentiality, intellectual property licences and data sharing agreements. The focus of the role will be on contractual matters which may include commercial participator agreements with sponsors of the Trust. As well as collaborations with other charities on funded projects and grant agreements. 


THE CANDIDATE
We’re looking for an experienced contracts/commercial Lawyer who is solution focused when it comes to problem solving. You’ll possess exceptional communication skills and will be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll thrive when working as part of a team or autonomously. Finally it is really important that you have a keen eye for attention to detail as well as being highly organised.
