Multi-Track Personal Injury Solicitor/Legal Executive - 12 Month FTC

A firmly established and very successful Legal 500 listed specialist claimant practice is continuing to enjoy a huge influx of instructions despite the current trends in the personal injury market and so is eager to appoint an additional Personal Injury Solicitor or Legal Executive to its Multi-Track Team in Birmingham city centre to deal with a caseload of Multi-Track personal injury matters.

This practice has an excellent pedigree and over the years it has forged a well-deserved reputation for acting solely on behalf of claimants in relation to all types of personal injury, clinical negligence and employment matters. The firm has a national reach and has robust relationships with an extensive and longstanding client base meaning that this practice can guarantee security and stability in the long term and it really does continue to buck the trend within the current personal injury environment.

Due to an increase in high value instructions, the firm is now keen to bolster the Multi-Track Team with an additional Solicitor or Legal Executive to deal with a very varied and challenging caseload of Multi-Track personal injury matters on behalf of claimants on matters with values up to around the £250,000 mark. The caseload will be a mix of litigated and pre-litigated matters and will comprise predominantly EL/PL matters as well as some RTA cases and the subject matter will include dealing with brain injuries, spinal injuries, fractures and internal injuries as well as the large associated Special Damages claims.

You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' PQE and will be able to demonstrate a strong record of having dealt with a similar caseload previously. What is important though is that you have excellent client care skills, able to to empathise with clients and are tenacious in securing the very best settlements on behalf of your clients.

This role is initially a 12-month fixed term contract whilst the increase in instructions is absorbed into the team although there is a possibility that the role could become permanent, as others have recently, and part of this will be dependent upon your own performance. Equally, this role could really benefit those who only have one eye on the medium term.

The firm is offering a very competitive salary and perhaps one of the best benefits packages on the market. This includes a generous holiday allowance, bi-annual pay reviews, an enhanced pension scheme, life assurance, childcare vouchers and interest free travel loans. You will also benefit from further paid leave when the office closes over the Christmas period.

This is a very good opportunity to join a well-regarded team where you will have conduct of quality personal injury matters whilst working for a firm that is completely employee centric and which puts its employees' well-being at the heart of everything they do so for more information on this Multi-Track Personal Injury Solicitor or Legal Executive role please contact Matt Robinson at QED Legal.
