Job Details

Tremendous opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to work In House at a building society and be based directly out of their office. This role is located in the heart of Carlise and will see you act as the go to conveyancing expert.

You will need to have gained at least 2 years' PQE and be confident dealing with a range of property matters to include standard sales & purchase, remortgaging, transfer of equity, right to buy, shared ownership, auctions properties and new builds. You must also be comfortable dealing with freehold & leasehold as well as registered & unregistered land matters.

As this is a new venture, work volumes initially won't be at capacity however this will increase during your bedding in period and after a few months you will be managing your own portfolio of clients and managing a caseload of 70 files. You will be provided with assistance and there is an up to date case management system in place, so you will be able to focus on providing the best possible service for your client.

Whilst a large proportion of this role does involve fee earning, you will also be required to train staff throughout the office on the conveyancing process and assist with the retention of the existing client base. There is also potential for work to increase, resulting in you managing a small team of fee earners & paralegals.

Flexibility will be offered with this role and you start / finish times can be altered, providing core hours are covered.
