Conveyancer – Bristol

A nationally recognised team is looking for an ambitious probate property conveyancer to join their growing Bristol based team.

As a probate property conveyancer, the firm will look to you to manage a range of administrative based tasks, liaising with both conveyancing and probate case handlers.

You’ll be focussed across four core areas; legal quality, case progression, customer advocacy and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:

  • run a caseload of assent, transfer and voluntary registration files; from file open to file close
  • carry out legal research and provide advice to support probate case managers and other areas with conveyancing queries
  • actively chase different parties for relevant documentation linking to cases
  • handle mail and address letters, distributing to relevant teams to action where necessary
  • consistently deliver an excellent customer service when communicating with clients; take personal responsibility for accurately logging calls and handling any issues
  • drive continuous improvement by supporting the development of processes and your own personal development

This role would suit people who have:

  • conveyancing experience, preferably with some legal training
  • great relationship building and communication skills
  • knowledge of Land Registry forms and land law
  • experience of managing your own workload in a fast paced and varied role
  • ambition and drive to progress your legal career
