Family/Childcare Locum – Devon
£25 to £40 per hour

Our client, a long-standing, reputable law firm in Devon is seeking a Family/Childcare Locum to assist with a caseload of Legal Aid-funded Childcare cases and proceedings representing parents and guardians against local government, working with a varied client base. The assignment is due to commence as soon as the ideal candidate can start and is likely to last for at least a month, with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will have extensive prior experience of overseeing a caseload of public childcare matters, care proceedings and advocating for and representing parents/guardians in court. Children Panel membership is highly desirable, but not essential

The firm is ideally seeking a full-time locum to assist in the office, though flexible working is considered. Furthermore, dedicated secretarial support from an excellent and highly-experienced secretary is available full-time.

The rate of pay on offer is expected to be £25 to £40 per hour, depending on experience. If you are an exceptional candidate and require a higher rate, please do enquire.
