Residential Practice Manager/Head Of Residential

Calling all residential solicitors. My client is in the market for a residential COLP to join & arrow head their property practice. The founders have owned and managed an award-winning mortgage business for many years. The mortgage business is one of the country's best quality brokers dealing with wealthy, successful clients who expect great service at all times. They're on the way to reflecting the same ideologies in their law firm. The ideal materials will be a solicitor to go shoulder to shoulder with the founding partners to create a entrepreneurial outfit & great success in the following years for all involved.

The role is essentially to manage the strong growth of a progressive law firm. The business itself already generates enough business so although you need strong relationship building and people skills the biggest challenge is to maintain quality and service at all times rather than winning new business. That's not to say that we don't need a keen commercial mind at the helm - the firm has expansion plans for the coming years and you will need the enthusiasm and drive to be part of that growth and contribute to strategic business planning, financial planning and operational decisions to maintain quality during growth.

• You will be an experienced and enthusiastic residential conveyancing specialist with a minimum 5-7 years PQE
• You will be practice manager and expected to play an active role in an exciting entrepreneurial business
• You will have ambition supported by talent and work ethic
• You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy engaging with people at all levels
• As well as managing your own case load you will build and supervise your team to service a growing volume of residential conveyancing business from an existing portfolio of clients
• Current team is 1 NQ and 1 Paralegal
• The proposition is quality and great client service rather than volume of cases so forging strong bonds with clients is crucial
• You will consider attention to detail and high quality of work essential
• Well organised, with a clear and professional manner
• Well presented, punctual, confident, and self-motivated
