Commercial / Commercial Property Solicitor

Boutique law firm in East Yorkshire with a national and international reputation require a commercial and/or commercial property solicitor to join their team.

This firm may be small but there is absolutely no compromise on quality. They are legal leaders is the transport sector. They employ specialists who have national reputations in their respective fields and they have access to an impressive network of foreign lawyers, consultants and experts who can be engaged when required.

Whilst this is a private practice, the firm operate more like an in-house organisation for instance they don't have individual time recording targets, they work as one team and have a monthly target, they have a laid back yet hard working ethos and there is not an expectation to work long hours. People genuinely get on and feel supported.

The firm is looking for a commercial and/or commercial property solicitor to join their supportive team. The work on offer is excellent and on a par with big firms in Leeds. The work is sector specific relating to rail, freight and logistics work, however, this doesn't mean it is minimal in scope in fact quite the opposite and vary varied. This firm was involved in work for the Olympics to give you an e.g. of the quality of work on offer.

The firm can be open minded and consider someone with pure commercial experience or pure commercial property experience ideally with a willingness to learn the other area with support. Someone with transport sector experience would be ideal. They also require someone who enjoys business development and marketing and who is willing to make themselves known amongst clients and prospective clients and really raise the law firm's profile.

Our client requires a Solicitor with around 3 years' PQE, however, this is purely given as a guideline and candidates with less or more experience will certainly be considered for the role if there is justification for this.
