My client is a small regional firm in the East Midlands. They have a close knit team who fully support each other and they have a loyal client base which has stayed with the firm because they ave been looked after over the years. Much of the work instructions come in from a word of mouth basis.
 
Ideally you will be a Private Client solicitor with upwards of 5 years' PQE and you will be happy to work in a small close knit team alongside someone senior.
 
The Derby based firm would be especially keen to hear from STEP qualified solicitor or legal executives with a good track record billings wise.
 
You will be happy to handle a broad cross section of Private Client matters including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Estates, Deputyship Maters, Court of Protection Files, Trusts etc.
 
You will be a business developer, be happy to immerse yourself in the local community, attending networking events and generally be a point of contact for the local community and gain referrals from word of mouth as a result of your exceptional service levels
 
At some point in the short or medium term your thoughts may be turning towards partnership. Salaried partner level is a target which comes onto the radar if you are billing well and both sides are agreeable.
 
You will be commercial in approach and had exposure to high net worth files.
