Interim Legal Services Manager

Venn Group's specialist legal team are delighted to be recruiting for an Interim Legal Services Manager to join a busy Local Authority legal team based in the Midlands. This contract is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Legal Services Manager with previous experience working within a local authority.

Duties may include:

• Managing the legal services budget and reporting regularly to the Head of Legal & Governance
• Delivering an effective, client focused legal service and supporting all areas of the organisation
• Leading a team of personnel, managing performance and ensuring the achievement of targets
• Supporting annual business planning to meet the team and organisational objectives
• Driving compliance by upholding standards and providing sound, accurate advice
• Liaising with managers to optimise delivery and opportunities for efficiency across functional teams

The client can offer an attractive rate of between £350-450 per day subject to experience and can possibly offer some homeworking after an initial period.
