Junior in-house Lawyer

Our client is an international R&D company based near to central Cambridge. This client seeks exceptional, hard-working and hands-on employees that will flourish in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
Most legal work is managed in house, reporting to the Group Legal Counsel, combining a rigorous assessment of risk with a flexible and commercial approach to individual circumstances. This is a varied role working across all business divisions and will include sharing responsibility on a day to day basis for client and supplier contracts, as well as all areas of company secretarial support.
You will be capable of negotiating contracts, liaising with clients and providing robust advice to the business or will have the capability to swiftly develop the understanding and technical skills required to do so and to quickly develop an understanding of the Group’s various businesses, key individuals and priorities. 
Strong academic credentials along with legal or paralegal experience with a commercial background is required. High standards of drafting, attention to detail, organisation skills and an ability to grasp broader commercial issues are all essential skills.Experience of working within the technology sector, or having a keen interest in this area is required, previous in house experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
