Job Details
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join the specialist, local government department of an award winning, Legal 100 firm in Cambridge.
Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to provide commercial support to their local authority clients, including County Councils, Unitary Authorities, London Boroughs, District Councils and Parish Councils. You must have a minimum of 5 years' PQE and an in-depth understanding of the following matters:
- Commercial contracts and procurement, the EU Procurement Regulations and state aid
- Joint ventures, partnerships and company structures
- Local authority governance
- Intellectual property
- Data protection and GDPR
- General commercial agreements
