Are you a talented lawyer looking to take the next step in your career? Being Senior Crown Prosecutor with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) means that you will be at the forefront of delivering justice for some of the most complex and challenging cases, from fraud and firearms to public order and corporate manslaughter – the CPS works on all kinds of cases.

In your role you will be able to provide justice for victims and witnesses, you will have the chance to have a very real impact on society and the freedom to use your judgement. Your work will be both challenging and varied in nature involving tasks such as reviewing, preparing and presenting a wide range of cases at magistrates’ court.

You will have opportunities to develop your career further including using your Individual Learning Account (ILA) to attend training courses, the chance to become a Legal Trainee Supervisor and shadowing colleagues to gain different perspectives. You will be supported in your progression with access to various promotion opportunities.
