We currently have a vacancy to join our dynamic and growing team during a period of significant transformation and major project delivery within the Councils supported by the Legal Partnership.

We are currently seeking a Solicitor specialising in Child Care Law to join our dynamic and growing team during a period of significant transformation and major project delivery within the Councils supported by the Legal Partnership. This post is based in the People and Courts Team, specifically the child care legal team and reports to the Senior Solicitor, Child Care. The successful applicant would provide comprehensive advice to the Children and Families’ Service in respect of child protection, adoption and fostering and other issues relating to children. Strong advocacy skills are also essential for this role. The role will also involve using Iken CMS. Local Authority experience would be advantageous.

You will also be required to provide additional ad-hoc support across the full range of services offered to both Southampton and Fareham Councils.
