We are seeking a Housing and Litigation Lawyer to join our friendly specialist team to provide advice in a wide range of Housing, Homelessness, Public Law & general litigation matters.
We can provide you with varied and exciting work in a dynamic business environment. The team is based in stunning modern offices overlooking London City Airport, directly next to public transport to central London.
About You
You will provide legal expertise in civil litigation and housing; contributing to the delivery of high quality, solution focused legal work, to clients in both Newham and Havering.
You will be able to:
- Proactively manage a sizeable caseload of predominantly housing law and homelessness matters for local government clients reporting to our Senior and Principal Lawyers
- Analyse and evaluate large amounts of evidence and provide sound comprehensive but digestible advice to clients
You will have excellent legal research skills including using online resources and have the ability to apply this to practical situations. Possessing good oral and written communication skills you will be adept at drafting concise, comprehensive statements of case, briefs to counsel and other formal legal documentation
In addition you will possess commercial awareness and understanding of client needs alongside excellent client care skills.
