Your new role

This world-class organisation is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (Real Estate) to join its respected in-house legal team in West London on an interim basis. Reporting to the Legal Director you will build relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels and will liaise with the General Counsel, showing credibility at senior levels. Bringing a can-do, pragmatic approach, you will handle a wide range of real estate matters and will provide commercially focused advice including high-value matters. You will advise the business regarding risk, while finding solutions to mitigate those risks and work collaboratively with the real estate team and within the wider legal team including mentoring junior colleagues. You will have the opportunity to implement change in the business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified lawyer with 6+ PQE (guide only), ideally from a private practice and in-house environment. You will have an excellent commercial mind, able to deal in real time with matters that may come up in a fast-paced environment including excellent negotiating and drafting skills. You will have strong exposure to real estate law and will be accustomed to working on a range of real estate and facilities matters. You will be a proficient real estate lawyer who is able to work autonomously.
