We are proud to be working in partnership with one of the Midlands leading regional law firms on several of their current recruitment projects. This specific role is that of Family Senior Associate Solicitor – where the Head of Department, is looking to add a Senior hire to their team to operate out of one of their older and more established offices in Worcestershire.

The award winning law firm have grown considerably over the past five years, with hugely impressive figures, showing year on year growth and profit proving that this firm is going from strength to strength.  With several new offices added to their portfolio over the past 18 months, our client now has prime location city centre offices in Birmingham also.

Offering clients a full range of legal services, they work with both commercial clients and businesses, and the private individual.

THE ROLE OF FAMILY SENIOR ASSOCIATE:

The Family Senior Associate Solicitor will be an enthusiastic and ambitious solicitor working within the existing Family team reporting to the department head.

Ideally our client is looking to hire at 5 years PQE PLUS (a guide only).

The role will be to work at one of the firms’ main offices, and will ultimately be the successor to one of the departments longest serving solicitors, as they near retirement.  Therefore there will be a portfolio of work that will be transferred in time to the new addition to the Family Team.

This role will provide a clear pathway to promotion for the right candidate.  Directorship is achievable for those who are ambitious and entrepreneurial.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

·         UK qualified Solicitor

 

·         Must be a fully-fledged Private Family solicitor who has an established reputation in dealing with:

 

o   marriage – divorce,

 

o   separation,

 

o   financial issues – particularly complex matters

 

o   advice relating to children.

 

·         5 PQE +

 

·         Strong technical ability

 

·         Familiar in dealing with HNW clients

 

·         A training contract with a reputable national or leading regionally located Commercial law firm

 

·         To be able to work in an autonomous fashion

 

·         Used to using own initiative

 

·         Commercially astute – able to maximise business potential through referrals originating from other firm departments – i.e corporate & commercial

 

·         Business and marketing focus
