Assistant Team Leader / Senior Lawyer – Children’s Social Care (Harrow)

We are recruiting to a permanent Assistant Team Leader/Senior Lawyer within one of our children’s social care teams.

About the position

The Assistant Team Leader/Senior Lawyer will be an experienced child protection lawyer and part of the management team for the Children’s Social Care team advising Harrow Council, based in the practice’s London office in Harrow, but expected to travel to courts and other offices as appropriate. 

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual, with knowledge and experience of advising on complex child protection matters, judicial review and the ability to conduct and supervise special educational needs tribunal cases.  You should also have the ability to performance manage legal staff, contributing to creating a high-performance culture and have an awareness of the governance issues in a local authority environment.
