Your new company
An International, social impact charity founded in London are seeking a Senior Legacy Officer to manage the day to day administration of legacy gifts left to the charity. From family tracing to disaster response, the charity offers a wide range of services worldwide and are one of the largest social care providers in the world. Social enterprises are maintained by employees within the charity as well as many volunteers, both friends to the charity and those who serve on advisory boards.

Your new role
As a Senior Legacy officer you will report into the Legacy Manager, and will be responsible for the day to day administration of legacy gifts left to the charity making a significant contribution to an income stream in excess of £50m. You will administer estates where the charity acts as executor and you will optimise income from gifts in wills without compromising the ideals and objectives of the charity. You will be expected to enhance the organisation's reputation as a good recipient of legacies by building good relationships with professionals as well as friends and family involved in each administration.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for the role, you should have a good academic record and have specialist knowledge of probate/legacy administration or practical knowledge based on 3 years minimum experience. You should ideally hold a degree of qualification recognised by the legacy profession, including the Institute of Legacy Management Certificate of Competence. Finally you should have an awareness of the rights of a charity beneficiary.
