Service Desk Analyst - London - Up to £33,000 + benefits

A top 50 London based law firm is looking for Service Desk Analyst to join their growing team. This is a firm that is committed to investing in their people and providing the opportunity for talented people to thrive and grow their career in a supportive environment.

The Service Desk Analyst will join a team that are responsible for providing an excellent customer care and a high-quality professional service to the firm's internal users.

The service desk team operates as the first line of IT customer engagement and delivers high-quality support and assistance across a varied portfolio of IT systems and services. The Service Desk Analyst will be delivering support in a positive, helpful and enthusiastic manner which will be critical to success in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 1st and 2nd line support, prioritising and escalating calls where necessary, ensuring that service levels are maintained
  • Ensuring that each support call is promptly, efficiently and professionally dealt with
  • Entering details into our call logging system, ensuring timely resolution of problems
  • Providing remote (telephone) technical support to the firm's internal users of computer applications and hardware
  • Performing system checks as required
  • Troubleshooting & maintenance upgrades
  • Covering the Helpdesk support rota - shift basis between 8.30am and 5.30pm

Essential:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with all-round knowledge of desktop hardware and laptops
  • Experience of supporting products typically utilised in a legal firm
  • Hardware support
  • Active Directory administration experience
