This is an incredible opportunity to be Head of Corporate Sales at a law firm that is ranked highly in the Legal 500, is in the Top 200, and has won awards for its innovation.

This role is incredibly exciting; you will be responsible for designing value propositions to solve clients' problems. You will manage the Corporate Sales pipeline and grow the revenue from existing clients and qualified prospects, and determine client needs based on market and client research.

They are innovative, with a plan to make them a non-traditional law firm; and you will oversee and implement this process. The firm have an incredible reputation and financial backing and have invested in their IT systems and infrastructure in recent years.

The Role

Because this firm are innovating, they are looking for a Head of Corporate Sales (you do not need to have worked in legal) to join their thriving Crawley office, West Sussex.

You will be responsible for scoping out the mid-corporate market identifying market and business trends, grow and develop the mid corporate client base, develop and manage an active pipeline of new business, develop credible client plans, identify and manage risk for business, collaborate with the Heads of Service Delivery.

You will help to shape this firm's future, innovate and implement changes in the business structure and its delivery of commercial, legal and sales advice, and be a key figure in modernizing the firm and streamlining its corporate sales process.

It is very likely that this firm will outgrow the South East soon, and grow their presence in London.

Requirements

  • You will have 7+ years' experience in proven sales/business development expertise
  • You will have a good understanding of the buying and selling cycles of mid-corporate business
  • You will have a track record of meeting sales revenue and pipeline targets
  • You will have strong commercial acumen
  • You will have experience assessing and managing risk in a corporate environment
  • You will be motivated, and innovative
  • You will be passionate about leading and motivating others
