Your new role
A Contracts Negotiator role working within the indispensable legal function. You will join a highly regarded in-house legal team on an interim basis for 12 months with headcount to go permanent for the right person. You will analyse, review, draft and negotiate a host of commercial contracts and commercial agreements, including supply agreements, master agreements and general terms and conditions and other ad hoc commercial documentation. You will build relationships with internal stakeholders at different levels and will liaise with the in-house counsel and marketing team, showing credibility at senior levels.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have in-house experience analysing, reviewing, drafting and negotiating legal documentation. You will have strong exposure to commercial law, including the drafting and reviewing of commercial contracts and commercial agreements. While energy sector experience is beneficial, this is not a pre-requisite. You will need excellent communication skills and you will be able to build effective relationships across the business. This role would suit a proactive person who wants to develop themselves. You will be available on short notice and will be able to hit the ground running. You must have full and inhibited right to work in the UK.
